As a private, non-profit organization, we provide culturally appropriate services (physical/mental health and substance abuse treatment) for American Indians, Alaska Natives and other vulnerable peoples.

Accounts Payable Specialist Apply to Accounts Payable Specialist position

Grants Manager Apply to Grants Manager position

Health Director Apply to Health Director position

· Provides drug and alcohol intervention, prevention and treatment services for youth clients · Engages in a collaborative process that facilitates the client’s progress toward mutually determined treatment goals and objectives · Provides screening, intakes, and referrals · Works with youth clients to establish realistic, achievable goals consistent with achieving and maintaining recovery · Develops and implements, based on the assessment, individualized comprehensive treatment plans per Federal/State requirements for all youth clients · Facilitates group sessions for clients using various methods including experiential and outdoor activities · Supervises attendance at activities specific to treatment plan · Maintains client records in accordance with State and Federal regulations · Must be available for some evening and weekend work and occasional multi-day trips with youth.

CLINIC

Gambling Addiction Treatment Specialist Apply to Gambling Addiction Treatment Specialist position

Totem Milieu Specialist Apply to Totem Milieu Specialist position
· Provide behavioral health and addiction assessment for purposes of intake to the Adult Mental Health program under the supervision of a QMHP · Provides care coordination and crisis intervention as needed for NARA consumers at the Totem Lodge location · Works as part of the mental health team and in close collaboration with addictions services, medical services, and other NARA programs. · Understands and applies the Sanctuary and Strength Based Models of care as part of providing specialized milieu support services · Provide assessment/screening, information and referral services via telephone and face to face for clients seeking Mental Health, Health, and Addictions services · Provide initial welcome and supports to consumers to assist with linking to Totem Lodge and Adult MH programming · Facilitate consumer community meetings · As needed, provide triage and supports for consumers who present at Totem Lodge without an appointment. · As needed provide crisis intervention in collaboration with Totem Lodge Team members · Assist consumers in learning about and accessing cultural resources and activities · Monitor well being of consumers in the Totem Lodge milieu setting · Coordination of care - actively initiates and maintains communication and collaboration with all members of consumer's support system and service team as permitted by the consumer · Maintain appropriate documentation as required by agency policy and OARS · Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings · Actively seek information and trainings to maintain professional level skills to provide mental health and addiction services including the ability to triage consumers to access physical health care services
