Adult Mental Health Treatment
Treatment Approach Our treatment approach is collaborative and strengths based, utilizing a wide variety of treatment modalities. Native American culture and spirituality informs our work and is offered to our clients. Our treatment model is integrated care of Health, Mental Health, Sobriety and Culture. These services are provided at each of our 7 sites. Referrals and linkages are available when needed.
Mental Health Services Offered Our adult mental health program provides a variety of counseling and support services for adults ages 18 and above. We serve people who struggle with depression, anxiety, family problems, chronic pain and other life challenges resulting from historical and other traumas. Services available through the program include: · Individual and family counseling · Case management services · Assessment and evaluation · Psychiatric evaluation and medication management · Outreach to individuals on streets, shelters and hospitals · Individualized and collaborative treatment planning · Cultural groups and activities · Group therapy including Stress management Chronic pain Dialectical behavior therapy Cognitive behavioral Child care is available in our outpatient program next door to our building.
Our Staff The adult mental health program is guided by our cultural advisor who trains and consults with staff on cultural competence and provides cultural programming for clients. Our staff include master’s level counselors and social workers, psychologists and a psychiatric nurse practitioner. We also have interns from masters and doctoral programs working under the supervision of our staff. Our program is licensed by the State of Oregon to provide mental health services for all ages.
Referral & Intake Process Referrals for adult mental health services are taken Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5pm by calling our mental health intake line at 503-.307.7775. All calls are returned within one business day. Initial assessments are made by a mental health counselor. Psychiatric evaluation can be scheduled after an assessment has been completed by the mental health counselor.
