Urban American Indian Tobacco Prevention Network (UAITPEN) Members

Urban American Indian Tobacco Prevention & Education Network members serve as an advisory board to the Urban American Indian Tobacco Prevention Program. It is made up of community members from many different organizations who are the experts on what is going on in the community and what tobacco control efforts need to look like for the community. Before the program engages in any activities, the UAITPEN is consulted with to determine the efficacy of such activties in the community. We have representation from all sectors of the community: education (early childhood, primary, secondary), health, tribal organizations, students, religious organizations, support groups, artists, cultural groups and much more.

The UAITPEN comes together quarterly to dicuss:

  • Community needs
  • Program activties
  • Tobacco control activties
  • Tribal activties
  • Trainings
  • Lunch!
  • Much more

UAITPEN meetings are generally held every three months on the third thursday, locations TBA.
