NARA NW Child and Family Services helps children and families learn skills for healthy living and relationships, develop mindfulness practices, and find ways to cope through counseling and other services. This program brings whole families together, from infants to elders, to encourage balance and build support within each family.

Our Staff
Our Youth Addictions Treatment Services are guided by our cultural advisor who trains and consults with staff on cultural competence and provides cultural programming for clients. Our staff includes master’s level counselors and social workers, psychologists, nurse practitioners and a licensed child psychiatrist. Interns from local colleges and universities who are studying to become Master’s level counselors may also work under the supervision of our licensed staff. Our program is certified by the State of Oregon to provide mental health services for all ages.
Referral and Intake Process
Referrals for Child and Family Services are received:

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Initial assessments are made by a mental health counselor. Psychiatric evaluations may be scheduled after an assessment has been completed by the mental health counselor
